2009 Season Record 3-4-2

Our 8th grade life science teacher, Roy Hinderer, and a Cascade dad, Tim Dahlquist, had the privilege of coaching the Cascade Christian Jr. High boys’ soccer team this fall season. This year, the team emphasized what it means to be warriors for God; and, the players followed through on this aim by putting Christ first in their speech and actions, while maintaining a high level of junior high competitiveness in the league.

"Although every player did his part to help the team to pull off several wins and ties this season, there are a few players that deserve special note:  As the team’s MVP, Andrei Dyson, 8th grade, scored 8 goals; Ethan Haddox, 8th grade, was the team’s Most Improved as the team’s superb left defender; and, Garrett Tapia, 8th grade earned the Coach’s Award for his leadership as captain of the team, his great attitude, and his famous ability as the team’s sweeper. Go, Cougs!"

"We praise God for the opportunity we had to positively lead and make an impact for Christ around our community through the great sport of soccer."
