YME will provide a setting where gifted musicians and students interested in music are given opportunities to explore, develop and demonstrate their God-given potential. YME is an after-school enrichment activity at
Cascade Christian High School consisting of weekly meetings,
rehearsals, and performance opportunities for musicians in the 9-12
grade levels. Sessions will take place in the Fall and Spring.
YME Goals:
- Challenge student musicians musically and spiritually
- Offer an outlet for musical expression
- Develop leadership skills in students
- Offer students leadership opportunities
- Foster a love of music
- Develop musical skills in students that will last a lifetime
- Enhance and support the music program at CCS
- Help students learn to lead worship
